PublicationTwo dinuclear complexes of zinc and cadmium with silanethiolate and bridging biimidazole ligands are characterized by X-ray diffraction, FT-IR, UV–Vis and emission spectroscopies. The complexes 1 (Zn) and 2 (Cd) are isostructural but exhibit different electronic structures and different character of frontier HOMO orbitals as indicated by DFT calculations. PublicationTri-tert-butoksysilanotiolany kobaltu(II) z 2,5-dimetylopirydną, 3,4-dimetylopirydną i 3,5-dimetylopirydną jako dodatkowymi ligandami zostały zsyntetyzowane w reakcji z bimetalicznym [Co{SSi(OtBu)3}(NH3)]2 z odpowiednią pochodną pirydyny.
