PublikacjaThe aim of the paper is to investigate the stability process in the axially compressed columns modelled by beam and shell elements using static and dynamic finite element analysis by taking both the geometric and material non-linearity into account. The proposed approach enables us to obtain an accurate low-order lumped parameter representation of the investigated system.
