Identification of advanced manufacturing systems change factors - methodical aspects
PublikacjaCelem publikacji jest przedstawienie założeń metodyki identyfikacji kluczowych czynników zmian zaawansowanego systemu produkcyjnego. W publikacji przedstawiono zmiany występujące w otoczeniu przedsiębiorstwa związane z następującymi procesami globalizacji, wirtualizacji, sieciowości i narastającym znaczeniem inteligentnych organizacji. Wyróżniono wielowymiarowe przestrzenie otoczenia, zarówno tego szerszego, jak i bezpośredniego...

The use of spectrometric diagnostics in identification of the technical condition of tribological systems
PublikacjaThe paper presents, as an effect of the analysis of investigation results, a possibility of using the spectrometric diagnostics in the tribological system technical condition supervision arrangement. A model, based on the emission of solid particles in tribological system operation, allows to identify the system technical condition. After the analysis of tests carried out with the use of that model, it has been found that the content...

An interval estimator for chlorine monitoring in drinking water distribution systems under uncertain system dynamics, inputs and chlorine concentration measurement errors
PublikacjaThe design of an interval observer for estimation of unmeasured state variables with application to drinking water distribution systems is described. In particular, the design process of such an observer is considered for estimation of the water quality described by the concentration of free chlorine. The interval observer is derived to produce the robust interval bounds on the estimated water quality state variables. The stability...

Centralized and Distributed Structures of Intelligent Systems for Aided Design of Ship Automation
PublikacjaA design process and accepted solutions made during this process, often base on non-formalized knowledge, obtained from designer (expert) intuition and practice. There are no formalized rules assuring the correctness of design solutions. The analysis of design process of ship automation, including ship power system, shows that this process can be supported by application of the artificial intelligence elements. The article presents...

Preliminary analysis of proposed ship docking systems for a designed floating dock

Decoupled Kalman filter based identification of time-varying FIR systems
PublikacjaWhen system parameters vary at a fast rate, identification schemes based on model-free local estimation approaches do not yield satisfactory results. In cases like this, more sophisticated parameter tracking procedures must be used, based on explicit models of parameter variation (often referred to as hypermodels), either deterministic or stochastic. Kalman filter trackers, which belong to the second category, are seldom used in...

The advanced monitoring as a key factor for appropriate optimization and control of full-scale activated sludge systems – case study Debogorze WWTP.
PublikacjaComputer simulation has become a helpful tool in wastewater treatment systems performance and effectiveness analysis. Advanced monitoring, by using appropriate software, enables to create a mathematical model of a real wastewater treatment plant (WWTP), run a simulation and subsequently interpret results under various conditions. An operation of WWTP is usually controlled by global parameters such as flow, solids retention time,...
