Estimation of the effectiveness of nbpt for limiting ammonia emission from urea based on the field experiments
PublicationThe efectiveness of the ammonia emission reduction from NBPT-stabilized urea was investigating in 2011 during a field experiment on a grassland plot fertilized with a one-time dose of 60 kgN/ha. The obtained reduction coefficient of ammonia emission equaled 73% and 39-51% relative to erea without the inhibitor and ammonium nitrate, respectively.

Acceleration of the discrete Green's function computations
PublicationResults of the acceleration of the 3-D discrete Green's function (DGF) computations on the multicore processor are presented. The code was developed in the multiple precision arithmetic with use of the OpenMP parallel programming interface. As a result, the speedup factor of three orders of magnitude compared to the previous implementation was obtained thus applicability of the DGF in FDTD simulations was significantly improved.

Microwave assisted liquefaction with crude glycerol as a potential method of brewer's spent grain utylization
PublicationBrewer's spent grain was applied as a low-cost industrial type of lignocellulose biomass in a liquefaction and solvent: biomass ratio on the efficiency of the process, chemical structure and basic properties of obtained prepared polyols and soil residues shed light on the biomass degradation mechanism through application of microwaves and further reaction of degradation products with solvent particles.

The field model uses the inductor current as the input data which is obtained from the circuit model or experimentally. PublicationWe are reporting detailed quantum scattering calculations that describe the diffusion of a beam of low-energy positrons interacting with the pyrimidine target as a gas-phase partner. The calculations have employed an essentially ab initio model for the short-range correlation interaction and for the electrostatic interaction of an impinging positron and the electron+nuclear structure of the target molecule at its equilibrium geometry.
