Model of pressure distribution in vortex flow controls
PublicationThe paper is devoted to the vortex valve. Existing devices are described by CFD-methods, or by means of simple empirical relations. A rational method of the considered object design is proposed, on the base of the input and dissipation energy balance., what gives a simple algebraic equation. Conformity between calcul;ated and measured parameters of the vortex valve allows for acceptation of the proposed concept.

Analysis of magnetic field inside thin-layer ferromagnetic objects
PublicationResults of the numerical analysis of the magnetic field inside an infinitely long, thin-layer ferromagnetic pipe with and without a barrier were presented in this paper. Two wires with current symmetrically placed on two sides of the pipe are the sources of magnetic field. Numerical calculations for the quasi-steady state for chosen frequency band were carried out in the Flux 2D.

Bifurcation of equilibrium forms of an elastic rod on a two-parameter Winkler foundation
PublicationWe consider two-parameter bifurcation of equilibrium states of an elastic rod on a deformable foundation. Our main theorem shows that bifurcation occurs if and only if the linearization of our problem has nontrivial solutions. In fact our proof, based on the concept of the Brouwer degree, gives more, namely that from each bifurcation point there branches off a continuum of solutions.
