Influence of Gaps’ Geometry Change on Leakage Flow in Axial Piston Pumps
PublikacjaAxial piston pumps are the core elements of most medium and high-pressure hydraulic systems. High volumetric efficiency and high working pressures are the main advantages of this type of pumps. PublikacjaIn this paper we consider a variant of graph partitioning consisting in partitioning the vertex set of a graph into the minimum number of sets such that each of them induces a graph in hereditary class of graphs P (the problem is also known as P-coloring). We focus on the computational complexity of several problems related to greedy partitioning. In particular, we show that given a graph G and an integer k deciding if the greedy...

A LUMPED-CIRCUIT MODEL OF CIRCULAR PISTON TRANSDUCER FOR MODELING ITS PERFORMANCE IN DUAL FREQUENCY OPERATING MODES
PublikacjaThe paper presents novel network equivalent circuit of piezoceramic circular disc transducer that takes into account thickness and ra dial mode of vibrations. The starting point of the analysis is 4-port description of circular disc element representing the solution of wave equation set in radial and thickness directions. Th e approximate solution for harmonic case is represented in the form of 4x4 matrix, which is syn thesized...

Modeling process of planning finished product sales volumes at industrial enterprises in modern economic conditions
PublikacjaThis article presents improving the existing system of planning finished products sales volumes. The influencing factors of the sales volumes in modern economic conditions have been determined: falling world oil prices, the reduction of pipe consumption in the domestic market, the global pandemic. The algorithm of planning finished products sales volumes has been constructed. Calculations based on the Holt forecasting method has...

Enhanced Toxicity of Bisphenols Together with UV Filters in Water: Identification of Synergy and Antagonism in Three-Component Mixtures
PublikacjaContaminants of emerging concern (CEC) localize in the biome in variable combinations of complex mixtures that are often environmentally persistent, bioaccumulate and biomagnify, prompting a need for extensive monitoring. Many cosmetics include UV filters that are listed as CECs, such as benzophenone derivatives (oxybenzone, OXYB), cinnamates (2-ethylhexyl 4-methoxycinnamate, EMC) and camphor derivatives (4-methylbenzylidene-camphor,...

Fast multi-objective design optimization of microwave and antenna structures using data-driven surrogates and domain segmentation
PublikacjaPurpose Strategies and algorithms for expedited design optimization of microwave and antenna structures in multi-objective setup are investigated. Design/methodology/approach Formulation of the multi-objective design problem oriented towards execution of the population-based metaheuristic algorithm within the segmented search space is investigated. Described algorithmic framework exploit variable fidelity modeling, physics- and...

Experimental and Computational Analysis of the Ship Propeller in Open Water Conditions for Inclined Flow
PublikacjaThe paper presents the results of computational analyses simulating the open water tests of ship propeller in inclined flow. The results of computations are compared with the results of corresponding experimental analyses carried out in the towing tank of Ship Design and Research Centre (CTO S.A.). The object of the research was the model propeller identified as CP469. The aim of the study was to validate the results of numerical...
