CLICK 'n' Sleep: Light-Switch Behavior of Triazole-Containing Tris(bipyridyl)ruthenium Complexes
PublicationA set of RuII complexes incorporating triazole subunits are presented. They show a solvent-dependent light-switch effect. Theoretical calculations revealed the excited states involved in the emission process. The findings are highly important for future design of light-switch sensors and suggest a severe restriction for functional photomolecular devices synthesized by CLICK chemistry.

PublicationIn this paper a comprehensive review of recent studies on the ultrasonic piezoelectric motors is presented. The analytical, numerical and experimental analysis. In further sections, classification methods of piezoelectric motors, survey criteria and three main groups of ultrasonic piezoelectric motors with examples have been presented and described. Finally, the conclusions and future research perspectives have been proposed.

Possibilities of heat transfer augmentation in heat exchangers with minichannels for marine applications
PublicationIn the paper, new trends in development of microchannel heat exchangers are presented. The exchangers developed in this way can be applied in marine applications. Main attention was focused on heat exchangers design with reduced size of passages namely based on microchannels. Effects of mechanical stress on electrical arameters and noise of supercapacitors
PublicationResults of noise and electrical parameters measurements of prototype electrochemical double layer capacitors (EDLC) are reported at the presence of selected mechanical stress. This issue is of great importance due to future applications in wearable technology. The measurement results are compared, and we may conclude than flicker noise is more sensitive to any stress than other considered electrical parameters.
