Sposób wyznaczania zwartości wilgoci w powłoce oparty został na równaniu Brashera-Kingsbury´ego. Układ napędowy składa się z dwóch turbin gazowych napędzających poprzez przekładnię mechaniczną zębatą pędnik o nastawnym skoku. W symulacji układu napędowego zadawano wymuszenia wartością zadaną nastaw prędkości na regulatorze oraz wymuszenia od falowania morza w zależności od stanu morza. Wykazano, że w przypadku uszczelnienia promieniowego zmiana luzu osiowego nieznacznie zmienia rozkład ciśnienia w szczelinie nadbandażowej w porównaniu ze zmianą mimośrodowości czy skośnego ustawienia osi wirnika względem osi korpusu.
