Moment resistance of I-section end-plate roof girder splices; a case study
PublicationThis article deals with the problem of determining the resistance of end-plate connections. A nonlinear FEM model of the joint was constructed in order to predict its carrying capacity. PublicationThe Restricted Hatree-Fock method with 6-311G** split-valence molecular orbitals basis sets has been applied to geometrical optimizations and calculations of total electronic, zero point vibrational energies and proton affinities at 298 K for small neutral and protonated alkanes, alcohols, acetic acid, methyl and ethyl acetate, acetone, and acetaldehyde. Stress analysis of the bridge hangers in terms of the fatigue verification
PublicationThe paper presents the results of numerical stress analysis of the bridge rod hangers. Two types of hangers were taken into account, i.e. the bolted hanger and the welded hanger.
