Magnetic signatures of land vehicles
PublicationThe results of numerical simulations of the magnetic field surrounding of land vehicles' models have been presented in this paper. Vehicle containing of ferromagnetic elements distorts the Earth's magnetic field. This distortion can be measured by magnetometers. It is possible to detect and identify an object on the basis of its magnetic signature.

Local variance factors in deformation analysis of non-homogenous monitoring networks
PublicationThis paper proposes a modification of the classical deformation analysis algorithm for non-homogeneous (e.g. linear-angular) monitoring networks. The basis for the proposed solution is the idea of local variance factors. The theoretical discussion was complemented with an example of its application on a simulated horizontal monitoring network. Microwave assisted liquefaction with crude glycerol as a potential method of brewer's spent grain utylization
PublicationBrewer's spent grain was applied as a low-cost industrial type of lignocellulose biomass in a liquefaction and solvent: biomass ratio on the efficiency of the process, chemical structure and basic properties of obtained prepared polyols and soil residues shed light on the biomass degradation mechanism through application of microwaves and further reaction of degradation products with solvent particles.

Comparison of properties of the new electro-mechanical model and circumferential model of the inductive-dynamic drive
PublicationThe article presents a new electromechanical model of inductive-dynamic drive. The model is implemented in two environments: Maxwell for analyzing electrodynamic phenomena including moving of the disc and Ansys which allows for stress analysis on the basis of the volume forces imported from Maxwell. Ab initio and density functional theory calculations of proton affinities for volatile organic compounds
PublicationThe Hatree-Fock method with 6-311G** split-valence molecular orbitals basis sets and the density function theory-B3LYP have been applied to geometrical optimizations and calculations of total electronic, zero point vibrational energies and proton affinities at 298 K for volatile organic compounds. Calculated values of proton affinities are compared with experimental data.
