PublikacjaElectronic noses are able to perform on-line measurements of the toxic volatile compounds in air. Due to their low cost and compact size they can be placed in the areas exposed to pollution, outside the laboratory. Those advantages, on the other side, force the need for development of the reliable sensors data analysis procedures. One of the most important issues connected with electronic noses is the lack of stability of the gas...

On a comparison principle and the uniqueness of spectral flow
PublikacjaThe spectral flow is a well-known quantity in spectral theory that measures the variation of spectra about 0 along paths of selfadjoint Fredholm operators. The aim of this work is twofold. Firstly, we consider homotopy invariance properties of the spectral flow and establish a simple formula which comprises its classical homotopy invariance and yields a comparison theorem for the spectral flow under compact perturbations. We apply...

The Methods for RTS Noise Identification
PublikacjaIn the paper authors present two methods, which allows to identify the RTS noise in noise signal of semiconductor devices. The first one was elaborated to identify the RTS noise and also to estimate the number of its levels. The second one can be used to estimate all of the parameters of Gaussian and non-Gaussian components in the noise signal in a frequency domain.

GENERAL DYNAMIC PROJECTING OF MAXWELL EQUATIONS
PublikacjaA complete – system of Maxwell equations is splitting into independent subsystems by means of a special dynamic projecting technique. The technique relies upon a direct link between field components that determine correspondent subspaces. The explicit form of links and corresponding subspace evolution equations are obtained in conditions of certain symmetry, it is illustrated by examples of spherical and quasi-one-dimensional waves.
