PublicationIn the present paper the synthesis conditions for fabrication of Bi1−xNdxFeO3 ceramics are reported. The single phase polycrystalline samples of Bi1−xNdxFeO3 were prepared by standard solid state reaction method from the mixture of oxides viz.: Bi2O3, Fe2O3 and Nd2O3. The samples were characterized by impedance spectroscopy in the frequency range 10Hz – 1MHz at room temperature.

Simulation investigation of perovskite-based solar cells
PublicationThree models of thin-layer lead-halide perovskite solar cells with different electron-transport layers (TiO2,SnO2,ZnO) were investigatedby the simulation method. The perovskite layer thickness was optimized for all the systems. The analysis of the standard photovoltaic cell performanceparameters at various operating temperatures was performed. PublicationW artykule zaprezentowano wyniki pomiarów temperatury skóry człowieka podczas próby wysiłkowej. Ponieważ uzyskane wyniki nie podlegają rozkładowi normalnemu, wyznaczono wartości pięciu różnych estymatorów menzurandu. Otrzymane rezultaty wykazały, że w rozważanym przypadku najlepszy estymator menzurandu otrzymujemy z metody bootstrap, ponieważ charakteryzuje się on najmniejszym odchyleniem standardowym.

A reactive algorithm for deducing nodal forwarding behavior in a multihop ad-hoc wireless network in the presence of errors
PublicationA novel algorithm is presented to deduce individual nodal forwarding behavior from standard end-to-end acknowledgments. The algorithm is based on a well-established mathematical method and is robust to network related errors and nodal behavior changes. The proposed solution was verified in a network simulation, during which it achieved sound results in a challenging multihop ad-hoc network environment.

Measurement system based on USB Z-Wave controller
PublicationA wireless measurement system based on the Z-Wave standard is presented in this paper. The system is composed of a U SB Z-Stick Gen5 controller connected to a Personal Computer and a Fibaro controller FGRGBWM-441. Operation of the system is controlled by software written in C++ using OpenZWave library. Macromodels for Efficient Analysis of Open-Region Problems Using the Finite Element Method
PublicationThis paper presents a local model-order reduction, called macromodeling, applied to speed-up the simulations of open-region problems, analyzed by means of finite element method. This technique is illustrated by a numerical example, which deals with a dielectric resonator antenna (DRA). The obtained results show that the proposed approach is reliable and can significantly increase the standard finite element method efficiency.
