Design thinking qualifications framework – standardizing the innovative approach to entrepreneurial education delivery to engineering students
PublicationHighly competitive labor market stimulates increasing expectations towards fresh university alumni. It is not enough to be an expert - well educated and often experienced - in chosen discipline. High variability of the business environment, continuous change, number of risks, together with higher work demand than supply, shape clear employers’ expectations: entrepreneurial employees are wanted. On this ground a need for entrepreneurial...

PublicationThe aim of the presented study is to investigate the applicability of electrochemical oxidation of aromatic compounds containing heteroatoms, e.g. waste from production of pesticides or pharmaceutics, at a borondoped diamond (BDD) electrode. The BDD electrodes were synthesized by microwave plasma enhanced chemical vapour deposition (MW PE CVD). Investigation of the electrode surface by optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy...

Smart Innovation Engineering (SIE): Experience-Based Product Innovation System for Industry 4.0
PublicationThis paper presents a semi-automatic system capable of facilitating product innovation process. This system, known as Smart Innovation Engineering (SIE) system, helps in decision-making by using the explicit knowledge of formal decision events. The SIE system carries the promise to support the innovation processes of manufactured products in a quick and efficient way. It stores and reuses the past decisional events or sets of experiences...

Experimental study on the effect of selected sterilization methods on mechanical properties of polylactide FFF specimens
PublicationPurpose: Biodegradable polymers are widely used in personalized medical devices or scaffolds for tissue engineering. The manufacturing process should be finished with sterilization procedure. However, it is not clear how the different sterilization methods have an impact on the mechanical strength of the three-dimensional (3D)-printed parts, such as bone models or personalized mechanical devices. This paper aims to present the...

Design of knowledge-based systems in environmental engineering.
PublicationW pracy omawia się konstrukcję iteracyjnie dostrajającego się modelu rozmytego zarządzania przedsięwzięciami informatycznymi, stosowanego do wspomagania wytwarzania systemów opartych na wiedzy. Proponowany model służy w szczególności do zarządzania zmianami finansowania i czasu realizacji projektów dotyczących m.in. systemów wykorzystywanych w (inżynierii) ochronie środowiska. Struktura tego modelu zasadza się na teorii systemów...

Design of knowledge based systems in environmental engineering.
PublicationW pracy omawia się konstrukcję samo narastającego modelu rozmytego zarządzania przedsięwzięciami informatycznymi, stosowanego do wspomagania wytwarzania systemów opartych na wiedzy. Proponowany model służy w szczególności do zarządzania zmianami finansowania i czasu realizacji projektów. Opiera się on na eksperymentalnej regułowej wiedzy, pochodzącej z realizacji zarządzania przedsięwzięciami informatycznymi, na teorii systemów...
