Problem of aggregation in dye-DNA interaction, calorimetry studies
PublicationNucleic acids are the biological target for many antimicrobial, antitumor and antiviral drugs. Ligand-DNA interactions can be classified into two major categories: 1. covalent binding, which can provide to intermolecular adducts, 2. physico-chemical interactions, which can be divided into intercalation (e.g. adriamycin) or groove binding (e.g. dystamycin). There are several methods to investigate interactions between drug and DNA....

Precise Point Positioning Method Based on Wide-lane and Narrow-lane Phase Observations and Between Satellites Single Differencing
PublicationThe issue of using PPP method in position determination was formed in 1997. In most developed methods, ionospheric-free linear combination is used in order to eliminate the impact of the ionospheric delay. However, this approach does not provide the directly determination of the total value of the ambiguities, and the ambiguities for the individual signals. Therefore, in many publications methods of avoiding these deficiencies...

A reactive algorithm for deducing nodal forwarding behavior in a multihop ad-hoc wireless network in the presence of errors
PublicationA novel algorithm is presented to deduce individual nodal forwarding behavior from standard end-to-end acknowledgments. The algorithm is based on a well-established mathematical method and is robust to network related errors and nodal behavior changes. The proposed solution was verified in a network simulation, during which it achieved sound results in a challenging multihop ad-hoc network environment.

Insight into heart regeneration
PublicationThe mammalian heart is thought to be incapable of regeneration because of the limited ability of cardiomyocytes. to proliferate. However, it has been recently shown that the neonatal murine heart is able to restore its normal function after coronary artery ligation or even partial resection. Unfortunately, this feature is lost in a few days after birth, although lower vertebrates as zebrafish or newt, retain this ability until adulthood. Therefore,...
