Evaluation of Health Hazard Due to Emission of Volatile Organic Compounds from Various Processing Units of Wastewater Treatment Plant
PublicationThe paper describes an attempt at health risk assessment and odour concentration determination in the most important units of a wastewater treatment plant. The cancer risk (CR) and hazard index (HI) parameters in selected measurement locations were calculated based on the results of chromatographic analyses (GCxGC-TOF-MS) and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) guidelines. No exceedance of the CR and HI acceptable...

Partition coefficients of selected environmentally important volatile organic compounds determined by gas - liquid chromatography with polydimethylsiloxane stationary phase
Wyznaczano je dwiema technikami (izotermiczną i z liniowo programowanym wzrostem temperatury). Dowiedziono, że istnieje możliwość wyznaczania współczynników podziału techniką LTPRI w oparciu o skalę...

Chemical treatment of crystalline silicon solar cells as a method of recovering pure silicon from photovoltaic modules
Proces recyklingu krzemowych ogniw PV...

Photovoltaic-Installation Performance in Central Europe on the Example of Poland
PublicationThe amount of the electric energy obtained from a photovoltaic (PV) installation depends on the energy of the radiation. Weather conditions differ strongly between various years even in the same season. Depending on the climatic conditions of a given location, fixed PV solar plants as well as one-axis and dual-axis tracking PV solar plants are being installed worldwide. The aim of this work is to analyse the sunlight intensity...
